At Santa Cruz Therapy Collective, I enjoy supporting young adults who are exploring their identities and independence. With a relational approach that includes CBT and trauma deactivation, I invite clients to explore past relationships and how they influence current patterns. Our work together supports them to lean into the challenges of life and craft an intentional path forward. I also often work with parents who are struggling with anxiety, isolation, conflict, and loss of self. The parenting experience is not always what people anticipate - instead of joy there is worry, insecurity, and overwhelm.
By providing perinatal and parenting-specific techniques and research-based support for symptom relief, I help to normalize these common experiences and improve the family's sense of wellness. Our work together provides relief from suffering, harmony in relationships, and joyful attunement with children.

Groups
Middle School Transition Group - Santa Cruz
Middle school is a new social and academic experience, and it’s normal for the transition to feel intimidating. We provide a supportive space for new middle schoolers to share their experiences and connect with peers. We’ll play games, have group discussions, and engage in creative activities focused on building confidence and learning helpful tools to cope with stress. Facilitated by Thistle Hofvendahl ASW and Sara Anderson LCSW, two therapists who work with children through Santa Cruz Therapy Collective. In person at our office; either Sun 7/28, 2-5pm or Tue 8/6-8/27, 4-5:30pm.
